Worshiping the Creator While Destroying Creation

What if the God we are searching for has been revealing Himself through everything we overlook?

There is a strange contradiction in humanity.

We build magnificent temples to honor an invisible God, yet destroy the forests that have stood for centuries.

We gather to sing praises to the Creator, yet poison the rivers, pollute the oceans, and treat living creatures as though their existence holds no sacred value.

We look toward the heavens searching for evidence of the Divine while walking past countless expressions of that same Divine Life every day.

And perhaps the most troubling part is that we rarely recognize the contradiction.

How did we learn to worship the Creator while becoming so disconnected from creation?

The Separation We Were Taught

Somewhere along the way, humanity began imagining God as a distant being, separated from the world He brought into existence.

Heaven became somewhere else.

The sacred became something reserved for churches, temples, and religious ceremonies.

And nature became little more than a collection of resources placed here for human consumption.

But what if that separation exists more in our understanding than in reality?

When we look at a tree, we see wood, leaves, and branches.

But look deeper.

That tree is participating in an extraordinary expression of Life. Its roots communicate with the earth. Its leaves receive sunlight. Its existence provides shelter, nourishment, and breath for countless other living beings.

The same creative intelligence that brought forth the stars is expressing itself through the smallest seed.

And yet we can stand beneath that tree, pray to the Creator, and never recognize the sacredness of what surrounds us.

What Did Yeshua See?

Yeshua repeatedly directed people’s attention toward creation.

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow.” — Matthew 6:28

He spoke of birds, seeds, trees, vineyards, water, and the rhythms of the natural world.

He invited people to observe creation, not merely as scenery, but as a doorway into understanding the Kingdom.

Perhaps there is a reason for that.

Creation does not need to be convinced to express what it is.

The lily does not struggle to become worthy of blooming.

The bird does not need religious permission to sing.

The ocean does not ask whether it deserves to move with the tides.

Each participates in the unfolding of Life according to its nature.

And perhaps humanity, with all our religious systems and complicated beliefs, has forgotten something creation has never stopped expressing.

The Divine is not absent from the world. We have simply learned to overlook His presence within it.

When Reverence Becomes Responsibility

If Father El is the Source of all Life, and Mother Holy Spirit is the living creative breath moving through creation, then how we treat the world around us becomes something profoundly spiritual.

A forest is no longer merely timber.

An ocean is no longer merely water.

An animal is no longer merely something that exists for our convenience.

Each is a unique expression within the great unfolding of creation.

This does not mean a tree or an animal is the entirety of God. It means the Life expressing itself through them is not disconnected from its Source.

And when we begin recognizing that connection, something changes.

We no longer protect nature merely because we need its resources.

We protect it because we recognize its sacredness.

We begin understanding that compassion cannot stop at the boundaries of our own species.

That reverence for Life should extend beyond the walls of our places of worship.

And that loving the Creator while remaining indifferent to the suffering of creation is a contradiction worth examining.

The Sanctuary We Have Forgotten

Perhaps humanity has spent so much time searching for sacred places that we have forgotten we are already living within one.

The mountains, forests, rivers, oceans, and creatures of this earth are not obstacles standing between us and God.

They are expressions of the wonder of creation.

And we are part of that same living tapestry.

Not separate observers.

Not owners standing above everything else.

Participants.

We breathe the air the trees help sustain. We drink the water that moves through the earth. Our bodies are formed from the same elements found throughout creation.

We belong to this world, and this world belongs within the greater expression of Divine Life.

Perhaps awakening is not simply discovering who we are spiritually.

Perhaps it is also remembering our relationship with everything that lives.

Because when we truly begin to recognize the Creator in creation, caring for the earth stops being merely an environmental concern. It becomes an expression of Love.

And perhaps the next time we stand beneath a tree, watch a dolphin rise from the ocean, or witness a butterfly resting upon a flower, we might remember something beautiful.

We do not have to escape creation to encounter the sacred.

We are already surrounded by it.

A Walk in the Garden

Father El, open our eyes to the sacredness of the world around us.

Mother Holy Spirit, awaken within us a deeper reverence for the Life that flows through creation.

Teach us to walk gently upon this earth, to recognize beauty where we once saw only usefulness, and to extend our Love beyond ourselves.

May our gratitude become compassion, and our reverence become action.

Love’s Echo

Beloved,

You search the heavens for Me while overlooking the wonders I have placed before your eyes.

I am not absent from the forests, the oceans, or the quiet unfolding of a flower.

My Life breathes through creation, and you are part of its beauty.

Do not mistake dominion for permission to destroy, or worship for a substitute for Love.

When you care for what I have brought forth, you honor the Life that connects all things.

Open your eyes, beloved.

The garden has been speaking all along.

Ashé.
