Find Your Forest

What if the life you’re struggling to fit into was never the life you were meant to live?

🌿 The Seed

You may not need to become someone different. You may need to discover where the person you already are can finally come alive.

📖 Scripture

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

🌸 The Reflection

There is a quiet kind of suffering that comes from living a life that looks perfectly reasonable on the outside but feels strangely unfamiliar on the inside.

You wake up. You work. You fulfill your responsibilities. You do what is expected.

And somewhere along the way, you begin to wonder why something still feels missing.

So you try harder.

You become more disciplined. More productive. More grateful. You remind yourself of everything you have and all the reasons you should be happy.

Yet the feeling remains.

Perhaps the question was never, What’s wrong with me?

Perhaps the question waiting beneath it was, Am I living a life that truly reflects who I am?

From childhood, we inherit ideas about what a successful life should look like.

What kind of work matters. What kind of home we should want. How much money we should make. What responsibilities define us. Even what dreams are considered realistic.

And without realizing it, we can spend years pursuing a life we never consciously chose.

But Father did not create a world of extraordinary diversity only to expect every expression of His life to follow the same pattern.

Look at creation.

The mighty oak does not apologize for remaining rooted in one place.

The dolphin does not question why it cannot soar with the eagle.

The migrating butterfly does not condemn itself for being unable to remain where it began.

Each reveals something beautiful through its own nature.

And perhaps humanity is no different.

Some souls come alive through building and nurturing something in one place.

Others awaken through exploration, discovery, movement, and change.

Some find their deepest expression in quiet contemplation.

Others discover theirs through creating, teaching, healing, serving, or connecting with people.

None of these expressions is inherently more sacred than another.

The sacred is not found in everyone becoming the same. It is revealed through Love expressing itself in countless ways.

And that brings us to a beautiful possibility.

What if the things that repeatedly awaken something within you are worth paying attention to?

The ocean you cannot stop dreaming about.

The animals you feel drawn to protect.

The conversations that make hours disappear.

The creative work you would gladly do even without recognition.

The places where your body relaxes, your curiosity awakens, and something inside you seems to whisper, There you are.

These experiences do not necessarily mean you should abandon everything and chase every desire.

Not every longing is guidance. Not every difficulty means you are in the wrong place.

Sometimes Love invites us to grow through discomfort, honor our commitments, and heal the parts of ourselves that want to run.

But there is a difference between the discomfort of growth and the slow disappearance of your authentic expression.

One stretches you into greater life.

The other can gradually teach you to forget that life was ever there.

And perhaps discernment begins with learning to recognize that difference.

Finding your forest isn’t simply about discovering what makes you happy.

It is about discovering where Love becomes most alive through you.

Because when something genuine awakens within us, it often becomes something we can share.

The person who comes alive among animals may become their protector.

The person who finds joy in understanding may become a teacher.

The one who has walked through suffering may discover a remarkable capacity to comfort others.

And the soul drawn toward beauty may create something that helps another remember the beauty within themselves.

Your aliveness is not only something you receive. It may become something the world receives through you.

You don’t need to know exactly where your forest is today.

You don’t need to uproot your entire life.

Perhaps you simply need to become curious again.

Visit somewhere new.

Explore an interest you’ve neglected.

Spend time with people who awaken something genuine in you.

Try creating something without worrying whether it will succeed.

Give yourself permission to discover what you actually love, rather than what you’ve been taught you should love.

And pay attention.

Not only to what excites you, but to what deepens your peace, expands your compassion, and makes you more available to Love.

You may discover that your forest isn’t a physical place at all.

It may be a way of living.

A rhythm.

A calling.

A community.

A beautiful combination of things that no one else could have assembled quite the same way.

And perhaps the journey doesn’t begin with finding an entirely new life.

Perhaps it begins with giving the life already within you a little more room to grow.

🕊️ Blessing

May you find the courage to question the expectations you’ve inherited.

May you recognize the difference between what challenges you to grow and what asks you to disappear.

May you discover the places, people, and experiences that awaken the beautiful expression of Father within you.

And may that awakening become a gift of Love to the world around you.

✨ Affirmation

I am a unique expression of Divine Love. I do not need to live someone else’s life to fulfill my own. I am free to explore, grow, and discover where Love comes alive through me.

🌳 A Walk in the Garden

Today, give yourself a few quiet moments to explore these questions:

– When do I feel most genuinely alive, without needing anyone else’s approval?
– What have I repeatedly felt drawn toward but dismissed as impractical?
– Which parts of my current life nourish me, and which parts have I simply learned to endure?
– If I gave myself permission to explore without needing immediate results, what would I try?

Choose one small experience that calls to you.

Not a life-changing commitment.

Just an invitation to discover.

🌾 A Seed to Carry

You don’t have to change your entire life to begin discovering where you belong. Sometimes finding your forest begins by planting one tree.

💙 Love’s Echo

A whisper from Divine Love

Beloved,

I did not breathe My life into you so that you could spend your days becoming a copy of someone else.

I delight in the beauty of your unfolding.

In your curiosity.

In the things that stir your heart.

In the unique ways My Love finds expression through you.

Do not mistake the expectations of the world for the boundaries of your being.

There is more within you than you have yet discovered.

More beauty to uncover.

More Love to express.

More life to experience.

You do not have to see the entire path.

Simply become willing to explore.

And wherever you discover Love awakening within you, pay attention.

There may be something beautiful waiting to grow.

Ashé. (May it be so.)
